With MLOK mounting options at the 36 and 9 oclock positions and skeletonized areas where MLOK is not used this handguard not only offers function but shaves weight where it is not needed. They still maintain 1913 MILSPEC Picatinny rail at the 12 oclock position that is notch cut to match their upper receiver and reduce weight again.
