The XBolt builds on the proven successes of past Browning rifles and adds numerous improvements that places it at the top of any side by side comparison. It is freefloated by bedding the front and rear of the action for stability and to help maintain barrel to stock spacing for consistent accuracy. A recessed muzzle crown helps protect the rifling from damage. The bolt unlock button works in conjunction with the toptang safety to provide an added measure of safety during checking and unloading of the chamber. The XBolt features a threelever Feather Trigger provides a clean crisp pull XLock scope mount Inflex recoil pad and a 60 degree fast cycling bolt lift. The Pro model features a full 360 degree second generation carbon fiber wrap stock making it extremely lightweight and rigid. The stock is filled with a noisedampening foam textured gripping surfaces and palm swell. The lightweight sporter barrel features a proprietary barrel lapping process to provide consistent accuracy a spiral fluted bolt enlarged bolt handle and a threaded muzzle with a muzzle brake or thread protector cap. The Cerakote finish on the action and barrel is also on the exterior of the stock for added protection. The burnt bronze hue mutes the color of the stock for better concealability.
