Description

The ironframed 1860 Henry rifle was manufactured in less than 400 units but this IronFramed Original actually steelframed makes it possible to acquire your own example of this shortlived piece of history. The IronFramed Henry Original is true to Henrys 1860 patterns and patents and virtually identical aside from concessions necessary to adapt to the .4440 centerfire rounds that replaced the longobsolete rimfires. This rifle uses a thoroughly modern steel receiver with a striking color case hardened finish and a matching periodcorrect crescent buttplate. It is fitted with a onepiece blued steel octagonal barrel and magazine fancy grade American Walnut stock a classic folding ladder rear sight and blade front traditional halfcock safety hammer notch and no modernized manual safety.
