Description
Taylors and Company reproduction of the C. Mason Revolver. With patents for the conversion of percussion revolvers Colt employees Charles Richards and William Mason cut off the capandball cylinders at the back and installed a conversion ring to accept cartridges. These conversion revolvers were favorites then and are enjoying popularity again as part of the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting. This revolver has a case hardened frame with blue finish. It comes with walnut Navy size grips brass back strap and trigger guard Octagonal barrel and brass post front sight.
